Sean Mulholland, President of Mulholland Investigation, presented “The Kinesic Interviewing Technique” at the 2011 International Intelligence Network Annual Conference in Washington DC to a group of 125 investigative professionals from around the world. “Kinesic Interviewing” is an investigative interviewing tool which takes into account physiological indicators of stress that can signify whether a subject is being truthful or not. This interviewing technique looks for clusters of indicators of deceit after determining a baseline of norms for the subject. Although Kinesic Interviewing is not scientific, it is supported by over 50 years of use and refining.

JACKSONVILLE, Florida (October 13, 2010) – Mulholland Forensics, LLC is pleased to announce the hiring of Vicente Rosado, a retired FBI agent who recently relocated to Jacksonville from the Miami area. Robert Jones and Sean Mulholland provided a lunch & learn continuing education seminar for the attorneys and staff at the Taylor, Day, Currie, Boyd & Johnson law firm in Jacksonville, Florida. Protocols for retrieving Electronically Stored Information (ESI) were presented along with summaries of notable cases worked by Mulholland Forensics.

A informative session on the use and abuse of Tasers also known as ECDs Electronic Control Devices,was presented including a demonstration. (Sean did not volunteer to be Tased.)

Account Hijacking using Trojans

We are getting more calls from clients whose systems have been compromised by Zeus (ZBot, PRG, Kneber ) or other trojans and several have lost tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars. The malware typically captures login credentials to online banking sites (among other things) then sends the info to its master, who then cleans out the client’s bank account.
