A client contacted Mulholland Investigation and advised that they were receiving complaints from customers regarding shortages of materials being delivered to the customers’ locations throughout the southeastern US. After collecting intelligence a surveillance operation was initiated and five employees were documented on video stealing materials from company trucks parked at an offsite location. The video was provided to law enforcement for prosecution. All employees involved were terminated. Mulholland Investigation ‘Instrumental’ in Acquittal Verdict for Alleged Murder Case

Mulholland Investigation and Computer Forensics was instrumental in helping a prominent Jacksonville law firm gain an acquittal verdict for their client who was facing second degree murder charges.
The lead attorney stated, “Your investigators ability to locate, interview, and produce the three key defense witnesses at trial was instrumental in putting forth our self-defense / justifiable homicide defense.” The attorney went on to say that if it had not been for the Mulholland Investigators “tenacious abilities,” his client would have been convicted of murder and would be facing a life sentence.

Mulholland Trains Leading TPA on Social Media as Evidence and Improving Surveillance Results

On Wednesday May 8th, Sean Mulholland provided training to one of the country’s top Third Party Administrators, Gallagher Bassett in Tampa Florida. Also, conferenced in to the training were claims professionals from GB’s Miramar Florida office. The two trainings were ‘Social Media as Evidence’ and ‘Improving Surveillance Results’. After the trainings Gallagher Bassetts claims supervisor Lee Stevens said, “I want to thank you on behalf of our team for two very interesting classes. Your presentation was informative and entertaining”.

Sean Mulholland recently collaborated with multiple colleagues to publish “A Manual of Professional Investigation Techniques.” Sean’s chapter is: “Kinesic Interviewing Techniques.” The book is composed to assist investigators in developing sophisticated investigative and business skills to meet modern challenges. The book includes chapters on skip tracing, background investigations, computer forensics and multiple other investigative genres. The publisher is Charles C. Thomas Ltd.

Infragard

Sean Mulholland, our President, is serving his second annual term as the Chairman of the Jacksonville Infragard Chapter. Infragard is a collaboration between the FBI and private security and investigative professionals. Infragard has several areas of focus with the primary focus being the sharing of valuable intelligence with law enforcement to enhance infrastructure protection. Infragard has in excess of 50,000 volunteer members across the US.

On April 11 Steve McCann of Mulholland Investigation was a participant at the Florida Trucking Association’s Spring 2013 regional meeting held at the Renaissance World Golf Village in beautiful St. Augustine. As of April 2013 Mulholland Investigation is proud to be a new Allied Member of the Florida Trucking Association. Many of the FTA’s members have been loyal Mulholland clients for years bringing us in to help when dealing with cargo and fuel theft as well as the need for surveillance and workers compensation investigation. It was a very informative day of meetings centered around Safety and Technology training.
